Since joining forces, in
1993, Mary
Belfry and
Richard Studer have introduced many organizations and
businesses in the Twin Cities area, and beyond, to their meaningful
perspectives on the interpersonal environment at work. With their
combined expertise, in Human Resource Management and Human
Relationship Systems, they are able to offer clients comprehensive
approaches to resolving workplace issues.
Richard J. Studer, MA, LP, LMFT, has been a psychotherapist since the late 1970's, practicing and consulting in hospital, clinic and day-treatment settings, as well as in private practice. For over a decade he concentrated on understanding the complex world of human relationships, while studying with Dr. Murray Bowen, MD, of Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., an internationally noted expert and developer of Bowen Family Systems Theory.
Mr. Studer's interest in organization and business relationship-systems grew from his work with marriages and families. Taking these understandings into working with family-owned businesses, and various other public and private organizations, it was clear that the same dynamic patterns seen in families were occurring in workplace relationships.
Since expanding his professional focus to include workplace systems, Mr. Studer has continued to refine his understanding of people and relationship systems, and to develop approaches emphasizing the stengths, inherent to individuals, families and the dynamic relationship systems in the workplace.
