Mary Belfry has been consulting to businesses and organizations since 1979. After attending the University of Minnesota, majoring in Sociology and Psychology, she worked in human resources management for a variety of firms. Her early specialization, in sexual harassment and discrimination issues, placed her at the cutting-edge of the field, and led to numerous opportunities to serve as an expert witness on cases across the country.
Ms. Belfry's extensive experience has allowed her to make many contributions to the field, having written professional articles, as well as being a featured speaker for the Hamline University School of Law, American Bar Association, Minnesota State Affirmative Action Association, IAPN National Conference and others. In addition to teaching continuing education courses for human resource professionals, at the University of Minnesota, she has contributed her expertise for several articles and programs on sexual harassment in the workplace for newspapers, magazines, radio and television.
