Consulting grew
out of efforts to bring the kind of thinking, I've found to be so
important and useful in my work with families and family businessess,
to organizations and individuals generally. It has become
increasingly clear to me, both from my experience as a therapist and
as a consultant, that there are times when anyone can benefit from
some perspective. For those in leadership positions, whether it be in
a business, organization or as the head of a family, this is even
more important. 
Interpersonal-relationships seems to be the one area where people consistently have some difficulty. A further complication has to do with the fact that relationships are involved in everything! It is hard to even think of circumstances in which our actions don't have some impact on others. Even a decision to stay out, and not be involved in some situation, carries many implications for those that chose to stay. What does your abscence mean to the others?
Relationships are inescapable! Yes, a person can leave,
get a divorce, quit, find another job, make some new friends, but
what's the difference? What about the next time, and in most
instances, there is a next time?
Coaching is one possibility to consider.
